Joomla! users may know Sobi2 component. It is a Content Construction and Directory Component and can be used for catalogs of cars, shops etc. It is very popular that's why it has it's own place in Joomla! extensions catalog. Let's cut to the chase now. In the back-end it has a menu option for massive addition of categories. I haven't seen something similar for items, that's why I decided to hack it.
